We went to Co. Mayo to meet with members of the Water and Communities Office, see parts of Lough Carra and attend the Lough Carra Catchment Association‘s monthly meeting. The people we met with and spoke to gave us new ways to think about the Carra from their experiences enjoying, living, and creating art in, around, on and of the lake. We also learned more about the physical features of the lake, its complex ecologies and geologies, and the legacies of planning and management decisions.
